well i see all that other drama on the other board - about him being pissed you opened this board - that is childish in my opinion because that board has gone to shit

yes i realize you homies created this board to make a cooler place for the fans - no war with the other board intended - which is mature

frankly i see nothing wrong with what you guys did - the more hed boards the better in my opinion - people have choice

and in my opinion this board is way superior to that other one - the colors are better - the features are better - the vibe is better - its just 100% better

like i said on that other board - aside from some of the downloads - i never really felt comfortable there to speak my mind - way too much censorship - which is what hed is totally against - ironic

i mean that thread you guys made about opening this board has been locked - how gay is that - case and point

so the bottom line is - im not going back to that old board - this one is for me -

i just hope you homies keep this board up and not let the other person make you feel like you have to close it - cause that would really suck

also im gonna talk to kim g about linking this board on hedrocks.com - i think once she sees this board - shed be down - ill see what becomes of this place first

I really didn't have a "falling out" with the band. It was a culmination of things, really (i.e., time, expenses, unnecessary work and drama).

I'm 39 years old and hold a very professional job outside of HEDrocks.com that is demanding and time consuming. What started out to be a few hours here and there (managing HEDrocks.com), turned into many unnecessary hours a week - time I simply did not have. Over time, it was in my best interest to resign my business relationship with HED.

As people, I grew to adore Jahred and Moke. Jahred's laugh is intoxicating and Moke just rules it. I'm bummed to see it didn't work out between Moke and Jahred because Moke was good for Jahred.

Jahred is a ball of talent and I wish those guys nothing but the best.

aw sorry then, well I mean .. i can understand what kind of work it must have been for you alone... but seriouly like the day hedrocks.com disappeared I was shocked.

was there ever a warning or something like that? I must admit i wasnt on there on a daily basis like I'm involved here now, but just there is nothing - no official news on the band whatsoever. they dont use hedshop.com at all and the prizes people "won" on there never got send out (to europe etc).

jahred posts a myspace blog every half a year or so, but i mean seriously..I think all the hardcore fans deserve a bit more info

Of course!! I gave Jahred and Moke immediate notice (six weeks in advance) once I had made my decision.

I based the notice on how far the website was paid up. Some don't know the band or label paid zero for my services and all the cost associated with HEDrocks.com; I fully funded it myself, which ran me in excess of $350.00 a month! And I did that for over two years...

In the event the guys needed it to stay up longer than that (to hire someone to do another website), they were required to pay the extended web server fees for HEDrocks.com. Since that did not transpire, the website was taken down, per my advance notice.

When HEDrocks.com was officially taken down, I redirected it to my personal MySpace page and had an announcement as to what transpired with HEDrocks.com.

I feel you 100%. You are preaching to the choir, dude!!

That is the main reason why I created HEDrocks.com, maintained and paid for it for so long. HED's online presence (with the exception of HEDrocks.com) left a lot to be desired and I think it's a shame their labels never felt it was essential for the band.

In my opinion, having a strong online presence is even more necessary for underground bands.

but then agen ofc I d like to discuss that with the band actually and HED TILL I DIE (leader of the forum hedpefans.com) first.
