Yeah Animal Farm was really good. Basically an allegory about Joseph Stalin Communist regime, but I really loved it.

1984 is without a doubt his best in my opinion.

I'd say so. Are you a fan of Stephen King or Tom Clancy? Those writers are pretty big over here.

EDIT: Sorry about that I meant Stephen King not the quantum physicist, but I would read his stuff too.

Definitely read The Shining by King because it is just an awesome classic. Maybe try Carrie too because it is pretty creepy.

For Tom Clancy read Without Remorse. I thought it was great.

Since my last post here, I've read:

Arthur C. Clarke - 2001: A Space Odyssey - Pretty good sci-fi book, way better than the movie.

Evgenij Zamjatin - We - George Orwell was inspired by this when writing 1984, it's not as good to me.

Joanne K. Rowling - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - Too long but still pretty good book.

And now I'm reading some compilation of stories by H. P. Lovercraft, but I don't have much time lately so I've only read In a Tomb so far. It was ok.

Right now I am reading Fahrenheit 451. Really, really good novel. I am reading it for my Senior English class.

Afterwards I am gonna check out more books from Ray Bradbury. He is very respected author over here in America.

The movie was really good IMO. I have to read the novel too, bro. How long is it?

Yeah visually its really good. I saw it in HD and it looked awesome. But yeah almost always the book is better than the movie i.e. the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Yup! Damn that movie is so friggin' awesome!

Hey Mr._Jack if you want to read a really, really weird book, but at the same time its genius read this.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime
by Mark Haddon

Mark Haddon's bitterly funny debut novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, is a murder mystery of sorts--one told by an autistic version of Adrian Mole. Fifteen-year-old Christopher John Francis Boone is mathematically gifted and socially hopeless, raised in a working-class home by parents who can barely cope with their child's quirks. He takes everything that he sees (or is told) at face value, and is unable to sort out the strange behavior of his elders and peers.

Late one night, Christopher comes across his neighbor's poodle, Wellington, impaled on a garden fork. Wellington's owner finds him cradling her dead dog in his arms, and has him arrested. After spending a night in jail, Christopher resolves--against the objection of his father and neighbors--to discover just who has murdered Wellington. He is encouraged by Siobhan, a social worker at his school, to write a book about his investigations, and the result--quirkily illustrated, with each chapter given its own prime number--is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

Haddon's novel is a startling performance. This is the sort of book that could turn condescending, or exploitative, or overly sentimental, or grossly tasteless very easily, but Haddon navigates those dangers with a sureness of touch that is extremely rare among first-time novelists. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is original, clever, and genuinely moving: this one is a must-read. --Jack Illingworth, Amazon.ca --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Damn I just started reading it and all I can say is, awesome!

Sound good, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get it here translated.
But I'll try.
