just watched it yesterday...has any1 else seen it yet? i thought it was really sick but ...somehow..better than the first one.. its a lot more brutal but also ...kind of works better than the first one for me...

any thoughts?

Haven't even seen the first one...I think being shocking is pretty poor way to get viewers and that the movie doesn't have any message...it's just to make money

That's just my feelings...don't want to judge without seeing it...

Yeah...I would also be angry if there was Michal David (not to be mistaken with Michael David) in a movie as typical musician from my country lol2

ye i can fully understand that! i also dont like the fact they describe the whole of east europe as some kind of lawless wilderness. but i think the film represents the xenophobia most americans have quite good because they kno so little about anything outside of the US or their state haha.

on the other hand i gotta agree with ivan as well...there is really no message behind this film... i spose u can only enjoy it if u r a really sick person like me who laughs at white american upperclass bitches bein slaughtered on camera joint

weak, stupid and boring for most time. i've enjoyed only the last 10 minutes.

but it was even funny in some moments. but not as funny as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2...

generally, i think they haven't made the profit from 1st Hostel so now they've hired some real amateurs. the "special" effects are HORRIBLE. i've seen better things in 74's independent The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

people won't see anything interesting in this movie. there is not even enough gore, so psychopathics will be dissapointed (i am)! :P :P

lol dude, u probably saw the same version i did where the CGI effects werent quite finnished yet...like the reflections in the sunglasses of that one killer guy.... its a promo dvd rip.... i m sure they will fix that for theatrical release... Very Happy

yeah, the whole thing with sunglasses and these palmtops is hilarious hahaha

i'd rather recommend The Hills Have Eyes 2, it's out and i'm gonna watch it soon!
